It is amazing indeed how time flies. As it does, we see what works of creativity stood the test of time.
Isn't interesting how music that we may not have paid much attention to at one point may eventually grow valuable or interesting to us at some point?
Take Pearl Jam for example. You may have heard a song like Black or Jeremy and thought of it as a good guitar based pop rock song, but it still fails to address the adeptness that Eddie Vedder had in writing music.
Someone who may have listened to a different genre such as say metal or funk or even hip hop, may not have really heard a good Pearl Jam song and eventually they get hooked.
The other scenario is that you have always liked similar genre bands such as say Nirvana, Alice in Chains or Tool, but you always overlooked Pearl Jam or any other similar genre band, but over time you realized that that music you ignored became your new favorite to listen to.
